T3 Spin for Life

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Located at the T3 Performance Training Center

2401 Thornton Road, Austin, TX 78704

8am – 8pm

T3 Spin for Life is a cycling challenge benefiting the Chris Klug Foundation to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation. This event will bring members of the Austin community together for a good cause, allowing participants to gather pledges and donations from friends and family as well as sign up onsite to become organ donors. In addition, all event participants will be entered into the T3 Spin for Life Raffle (winners every hour) and will be eligible to receive grand prizes for the longest ride and largest fundraiser!

How the T3 Spin for Life Event Will Work:
Riders sign up to spin as an Individual Rider or Team Rider (Max 4 Riders per Team) and will be set up on Bike Trainers at the T3 Performance Training Center

Individual Riders will select the time slot they want to begin spinning (8:00am, 12:00pm, or 4:00pm) and estimate the number of hours they want to ride. Riders can spin for as little or as many hours as they desire, but they must start at one of the above time slots.

If an individual signs up for the entire 12-Hour Cycling challenge, they must begin at 8:00am.

Regardless of number of hours an individual rides, a minimum of $50 in pledges is requested (additional pledges are strongly encouraged).
Teams must register together and must enter the 12-Hour Cycling Challenge (team start time is 8:00am).

Team Members can switch out on the trainer every two hours, but every team member must spin a minimum of 2 hours total.

A pledge minimum of $200 is requested for each Team ($50/person assuming 4 riders). Again, additional pledges are encouraged.

All Riders will be entered into the T3 Spin for Life Raffle (Winners Every Hour)

Prizes Awarded to Top Finishers and Largest Fundraisers
Pledges and Donations from this event will benefit the Chris Klug Foundation

We are looking forward to a great event and hope that you can join us! Please contact with any questions about this event.
